PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Leadership Geneva County is an adult, personal, professional, and community development leadership program with the purpose of creating a diverse leadership network of individuals that are able to more effectively serve the needs of Geneva County.

Leadership Geneva County is offering its first leadership training program beginning in July/August.

This leadership program is a unique program as it focuses on the interrelationships of local community components and leadership roles in fostering a community’s success and image. Participants will learn first hand about the various roles of the leaders in their community.

Course curriculum is structured for leadership development and involves core competencies topics, speakers, tours and student participation.

The program consists of a kick off session, eight (8) class sessions and participation in a community class project.  Sessions are four (4) hour blocks and include one session per month for eight (8) months.

Cost:   $500.00 per person for entire program.

To graduate from Leadership Geneva County, a participant is expected to attend and actively participate in all sessions.  Even though emergencies do arise, any participant missing more than two sessions, for whatever reason, may be asked to withdraw from the program.  No portion of the tuition will be refunded if the applicant does not meet required attendance.  Attendance for the kick-off session is mandatory.
